Throughout 2016 Waldrop Construction, Inc. expanded the way we build better; We now are serving the USACE Corps of Engineers, Omaha District by completing fuel systems work, as well as, now pleased to be able to build better for the USACE Corps of Engineers Mobile District and Tulsa District. Waldrop Construction, Inc. has created new positions and invited new members to our team. We have celebrated our 5th year in the SBA 8(a) BD Program and our 2nd year as a Qualified HUBZone SBC business.
As the year went by, during 2015, Waldrop Construction, Inc. continued to build better for our valued clients; Adding new team members with diversified skills and abilities, we were able to build better buildings with each new project we took on. Some of our staff gained new certifications and continued their education as they maintained previous ones. As a company we applied for and were awarded our Qualified HUBZone SBC designation.
2014 was an exciting year for Waldrop Construction, Inc. being that we became a select contractor for St. Anthony Hospital, as well as being selected for two IDIQ contracts with the U.S. General Services Administration within the eastern Oklahoma and western Oklahoma zones, a facilities MACC with Indian Health Services and an On-call contract with the University of Oklahoma.
During 2013 Waldrop Construction, Inc. became one of the contractors of choice for the U.S. General Services Administration and later that year moved into a stand-alone building on the corner of Linwood and McKinley just outside of the Oklahoma City downtown area.
In 2012 Waldrop Construction, Inc. grew its employee count and was accepted into the 8(a) Business Development program.
Since its founding in 2008 Waldrop Construction, Inc. has solidified itself as an emerging small business within Oklahoma. In 2011, Waldrop Construction, Inc. moved its offices into the Catbird Seat Incubator, operated by the UCO Small Business Development Center in downtown Oklahoma City and Max received his American Institute of Constructors Certified Professional Constructor certification. Also in 2011 Waldrop Construction, Inc. also became the contractor of choice for Deaconess Hospital.
