HEALTHCARE
CONSTRUCTION
Waldrop Construction, Inc. was founded on our belief that the construction experience could be better, that we could build a team that would Build Better for our clients.
Awarded it’s first healthcare construction contract in 2010, Waldrop completed a door hardware replacement for Deaconess Hospital and has now completed over 350 healthcare construction projects. These projects range from small treatment area remodels to serving as the Construction Manager at Risk for Municipalities and organizations.
Years of dedication completing projects within budget, scope, and schedule, have allowed us to establish successful relationships with INTEGRIS Health, SSM Health, Mercy, Norman Regional Health System, OU Medical, Cradduck Surgery Center, Cordell Memorial Hospital, Hospital for Special Surgery, Stroud Regional Medical Center, Open Arms Clinic, the City of El Reno and the City of Purcell. Waldrop’s proven track record of successfully delivering a variety of projects across Oklahoma is a direct benefit to any healthcare organization looking to Build Better.
Our team takes steps to ensure we are up to date and understand the ever-changing regulations and codes that have to be integrated to the hospitals in which we work through continuing education and independent study. Our leadership takes the time to communicate that education down to our construction field teams who in turn work with our subcontractors ensuring their understanding of why we’re there working on that project.
Our firm has developed, and continues to perfect, the processes and procedures used to support our clients in healthcare-specific capital budgeting, project development, safety, infection control, project execution, closeout, and OSDH approval.
“We decided to retain a construction manager and, incidentally, are very glad that we did so. That decision lead us on a search which resulted in our retaining Waldrop Construction, Inc. We are certainly glad that we did that and hardly a day goes by when we do not congratulate ourselves for having made that decision.”

Waldrop Construction, Inc. always produces a great product that is within the owner’s budget, due to great subcontractor relations and excellent pre-construction and estimating work. Waldrop Construction, Inc. provides the experience and systems of larger firms with the personnel services and attention to detail you expect from a small business. It is for these reasons I would recommend Waldrop for any construction project and I am confident that they will deliver the best value to the owner while maintaining a strong relationship with all parties involved.
