FEDERAL / DOD
CONSTRUCTION
Waldrop Construction, Inc. was founded on our belief that the construction experience could be better, that we could build a team that
would Build Better for our clients.
Waldrop Construction, Inc. was awarded it’s first Government contract in 2013; a refurbishment of twelve (12) courtroom benches in the
William J. Holloway Jr. United States Courthouse. From that time, we have grown to serve more than ten (11) Federal Agencies and their district offices within the Contiguous United States: USACE, USAF, Army, NAVFAC, USCG, DHS, GSA, USDA, FAA, BIA and IHS. As a prime contractor, Waldrop has delivered 200 federal contracts with a total value of over $125 million.
Our ability, as a HUBZone certified firm, directly benefits the Government because our team has a proven track record of delivering projects that are on time and within the Government’s budget with zero safety incidents.
Waldrop has been an awardee on 12 Federal Agency IDIQ type contracts over the last nine (9) years. In that time Waldrop has developed and
has in place processes to manage multiple standalone projects along with our IDIQ task orders concurrently. For example, Waldrop responded to thirty-eight (38) Task Order Requests and sixteen (16) standalone opportunities during FY 2021 alone. Of those competitively procured, excluding sole source opportunities, Waldrop has been awarded 40% of the dollars submitted. This above industry average proven capability in providing competitive pricing to deliver projects on-time or ahead of schedule, within budget, without a loss of quality all while achieving zero safety incidents is a direct benefit to the government.
“Waldrop Construction, Inc.’s management team effectively partnered with USACE Tulsa District, Tinker AFB CE and the customer to provide a high quality product on schedule despite government delays, and unforeseen site conditions. The contractor worked closely with government and the Airfield Manager to ensure construction activities didn’t interfere with mission critical flight requirements. The contractor has coordinated with the USACE and through the appropriate Base channels to ensure that the project has been planned and executed in a timely manner.”
